The strong result for the Auckland-based software developer is supported by the latest Dental Practice Board figures which show that Exact has accounted for half of all software sales at new UK sites in the past six months.
The company says the figures show the software is outselling its nearest competitor by almost two to one and that eight out of the nine corporate dental chains have committed to exclusively buying the product.
Chief executive, Paul Weatherly, says the company is very pleased with its corporate wins, particularly as three of the nine organisations made a decision to stop using one of the company's major competitors.
"The company believes that growth of companies owning and running chains of dental practices will be a world wide trend and our experience with leaders such as Boots the Chemist and others puts Software of Excellence in a very strong position in this market."
SOE reports it is winning the majority of independent practice business and also has the largest share of government business, with over 100 community dental sites now using its software for electronic client records.
