Twenty five companies are sending their people to Sydney for the three day Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA)/CeBIT exhibition to target organisations in the United States, Pan Pacific regions and Australia.
It is the strongest export network to ever target the Australian IT market
The exhibition is expected to draw up to 15,000 visitors from world IT markets over three days from May 28 to 30 with Prime Minister Helen Clark expected to attend on May 28.
The New Zealand technology companies attending come from various sectors including: health IT, mobile internet, personal health records, staff coaching software, travel and expenses management applications, desktop IT hardware and software, and 3D software for the games, film and broadcast industries.
The Australian IT industry is one of the fastest growing and most innovative markets in the Asia-Pacific region, recording sustained growth of almost 12% over the past five years.
