Ryanair will begin operating 126 services a week from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport from October, up from 103 services presently.
The increased flights are to Stansted, Brussels and Dublin.
Infratil owns a 90% share of Glasgow Prestwick via a consortium with UK utilities investor, the Special Utilities Investment Trust. The other 10% is owned by a Scottish company, Omniport.
Infratil has previously indicated that Glasgow Prestwick, which is located around half an hour by road from Glasgow, has plenty of scope for growth without significant additional capital expenditure.
The airport is Infratil's first offshore investment and represents around 10% of its investing portfolio. IFT also holds a majority stake in Wellington International Airport.
