Former Foxtel chief executive Tom Mockridge has been appointed CEO at INL following the sudden death of the media group's boss Mike Robson last month.
Mr Mockridge is currently working with News Corp's Asian subsidiary STAR TV. He has been a director of News Limited since 1995, Sky Television since 1998 and INL since early last year.
Rick Neville, who is currently acting managing director at INL and former chief operating officer, is to become managing director of the company's publishing business, reporting to Mr Mockridge.
The company has also announced that its chairman, Sir Colin Maiden, will step down from the beginning of March but will continue as a director.
Ken Cowley, who has been a director of INL since 1990, will be the new chairman. Mr Cowley was CEO of News Limited, the Australian division of the News Corporation, from 1979 to 1997.
