Ryman appoints Chief Strategy Officer

Ryman announced today that David (Dave) Bennett, currently the Group Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer for the group.

 

Dave has been instrumental in the successful execution of our recent capital raise, and the development of the strategy that underpins it. He has very strong relationships internally and externally, and an in-depth knowledge of the business and the sector.

 

Group CEO Richard Umbers commented, “I am thrilled that Dave has accepted this role, he is well positioned to drive the execution and evolution of the Ryman strategy”.

 

Dave will continue in his current position until a successor has been appointed as Group CFO. An external search will commence shortly.

 

About Dave Bennett:

Dave joined Ryman in 2013 and was promoted to Group Chief Financial Officer in 2017. He is a board member of the Retirement Villages Association of New Zealand and the New Zealand Aged Care Association. Dave has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a

chartered accountant. Before joining Ryman, he worked as an accountant and auditor.
