Metaphorically, of course.
Hot on the heels of a sale to Dallas-based phone company, Accutel, it says its innovative telecommunications software has been chosen to power the expansion of another Dallas-based company, NationNet Communications.
It describes NationNet as a leading US telco, and under the deal Telemedia will provide a central switching and rating platform for its entire network.
Telemedia CEO, Chris Jones, says this is the third major US deal signed by his company in the past month, following on from significant contracts with AccuTel and OnePoint Communications.
He says NationNet is launching a massive national expansion throughout the US and will be expanding its Voice over IP network this year to Dallas, Miami, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Next year it will include Atlanta, Chicago, Memphis, Seattle, Salt Lake City and San Diego.
NationNet is also planning to introduce Telemedia's integrated billing systems within the next six months, enabling them to secure better revenue streams from their range of services.
