The mining company says work on building access roads will start within the next week, with drilling due to begin in the first week of November.
The program is being funded under an option agreement with Canadian nickel producer, Falconbridge, and will consist of sixteen drill holes on four grids, each of which will test a geophysical target.
Falconbridge can earn a 51% interest in the Ta Khoa concession by spending $US5.5 million on exploration by May 1st, 2003.
Asian Mineral Resources says the first results from the site are unlikely to be available for release before early December.
