Text too small?

Specialist accountancy website Netprophet.co.nz reports this week on the Taxation Bill which has passed its final stages in parliament yesterday and the IRD recovers $81 million in tax from just 95 High Wealth Individuals.

Other stories include MYOB's general manager calling the recovery uneven and fragile after its Business Monitor Survey showed that around a third of small and medium sized enterprises have work in the pipeline increasing, but more than a quarter have worsening fortunes

We also look at how WHKs acquisition of two Oamaru accountancy firms is going. Brady and Wollstein and Scott and Co have joined WHK Taylors Otago.

There's analysis on what would happen if the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) does not win its appeal on the Penny and Hooper tax case and Debbie Mayo-Smith explains "how to target with a click".
