CellCo is an agricultural company working on cellular agriculture. It specialises in development of alternative proteins. CellCo was formed in 2022, and is classified as seed stage, with its technology origins being from University of Auckland.
BIF has made an initial cash investment of $125,000. Following this transaction (and issue of additional units to fund the purchase), Cell Co will represent 1.3% of BIF’s investment portfolio of 24 companies, and with a net asset value of over $9.6m.
Investors can continue to purchase units in BIF on the NZX or can subscribe for units in the fund as part of the process described in the fund’s Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) that is available at www.booster.co.nz
