FSF - Results announced for the 2022 Fonterra Elections

Returning Officer Warwick Lampp, of electionz.com Ltd, has declared the final results of the 2022 elections for the Fonterra Board of Directors, Directors’ Remuneration Committee, Fonterra Farmer Custodian Trust and Co-operative Council.

 

Shareholders voted to re-elect incumbent Director Andy Macfarlane and new Director Alison Watters to the Fonterra Board.

 

Shareholders voted to elect incumbent member Ellen Bartlett and new member Conall Buchanan to the Directors’ Remuneration Committee.

 

Ian Brown was elected unopposed to the Fonterra Farmer Custodian Trust.

 

In the Co-operative Council elections, the following three Co-operative Councillors were elected:

 

Ward 8 – South Waikato Wynn Brown

Ward 14 – Coastal Taranaki Anne Bridges

Ward 23 – Otago Larry Frost

 

Wynn Brown and Anne Bridges are new Co-operative Councillors.

 

In the six other Co-operative Council Wards where elections were due, nominees were elected unopposed. The Councillors in these Wards are:

 

Ward 5 – Hauraki Ryan Burton

Ward 9 – King Country Paulette Johns

Ward 11 – Eastern Bay of Plenty Gerard van Beek

Ward 15 – Southern Taranaki Dale Cook

Ward 17 – Hawke’s Bay Andrew Hardie

Ward 20 – North Canterbury Geoff Spark

 

All successful candidates will take office at the close of the Annual Meeting on Thursday, 10th November 2022.
