Bruce Emson has resigned from the position as chief executive of NZ Bus, a subsidiary of Infratil.

Infratil chief executive Marko Bogoievski said the resignation had been accepted reluctantly, with the board wishing Emson well in his new challenges, the first of which was to help his family and interests in Christchurch.

NZ Bus chief operating officer Zane Fulljames has been appointed the new chief executive of NZ Bus.
