Coca-Cola Amatil said the purchase price of Pacific Beverages represented a multiple of around seven times earnings before interest and tax for the year ended March 31, 2002.
It said Pacific Beverages had revenues of $A27 million ($NZ31.5 million) in that year.
It also said the purchase could be increased subject to the business achieving agreed annual performance targets over the next two years.
Pacific Beverages is the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of fruit juices, cordial and other beverages from a single manufacturing warehouse facility at Bayswater, Victoria.
It produces the range of Fruitopia fruit juices, which Coca-Cola Amatil distributes in Australia and New Zealand.
