Hi MacDunk
I don't agree with some of your assessments, but then everyone is entitled
to there opinion.
For one what decisions have Wrightsons made that have led to the recent big
drop in profit? I would have thought that the company was a
cyclical closely mirroring the rises and falls in the local farming
sector -ie influenced by commodity prices and exchange
rates which are beyond its control. Secondly who are the opposition
that have been increasing their profits? WKL another farming sector stock had a
drop in its last full year profit too. And if you are comparing it to PGG
remember that the company merged with Reid Farmers and so the performance would
need to broken down to get a true picture.
cheers Dean
