statistics University of Illinois.
States: Gambling is the fastest growing
industry in the USA it is a $40 Billion business that draws more
customers than Baseball, or Movies.
The University of Illinois estimates that
State Governments pay $3.00 in costs to social agencies and the criminal
justice system for every $1.00 of revenue they take in from
the Casinos.
So the Casinos earn $40 Billion revenue for the
states.
The USA taxpayer pays $80 Billion of
their hard earned taxes for the privledge of the ' Little entertainment
flutter ' you speak of.
At present I have not been able
to obtain the Australian Stastistics. When I do you shall be the first to
hear of it.
