Well actually that phrase is only known in the English language. We have no suck thing in Indonesian and no such thing in Dutch. In Dutch the closest is Believe me I can! The closest in Indonesian is ' masa' difficult to translate but basically it means ' Really?' So I think it would be better to say the English race are natural Gamblers. The Aboriginals have no equivelent in Fact no native race has any form of gambling natural to it. It is a common problem in English speaking countries and Chinese people. Though there are many Casinos in many countries around the world the devotion to Horse racing, Dog Racing, Pokies etc seem far more prevelent in Countries where England had previous colonies. Aboriginals and every other race in the world Trade. But they do not Gamble in their native state, only now when it has become available in modern Australia.
