RE: [sharechat] ASX share market announcements..

Thanks Chris,
Just what I needed.
For the record I went to a money managers seminar this morning, I have a work mate who went with them after retirement, and lost a lot with them, and as a result is back working a 3 day week. I always tell him I'm saving money by losing it myself rather than paying someone to do it. They are keen to emphasise the tax breaks available, that make their investments profitable, the loop hole they use however will be closed soon. I am always sceptical when tax breaks have to be emphasised to make something look profitable.
On a positive note he did stress looking at shares, and their dividends, not just either or. I tend to agree with him on that.
Allan.

Subject: [sharechat] ASX share market announcements..

Can I get some help please on this one. At present I have to look for
announcements individually company by company.
My share broker gives me streaming nzx announcements, and I would like the
same for aux.
To illustrate the point, yesterday KCN went up 6 cents or so, I assumed it
was because it was their ex div day, to find out when I looked for their
announcements, that it was because they had  found extra reserves on their
mining site.
In summary they went up 6 cents a share paying a 10 cent div and will
probably stay up to-day, I have that missed the bus feeling. [again]
Many Thanks
Allan.
