[sharechat] NZ$ v US$ Cullen gets lucky

In a previous post I mocked Micheal Cullen's (NZ finance minister) proposal 
for the NZ reserve bank to manage the exchange rate.

Since then the value of the $NZ has dropped against the $US, making me look 
foolish and Cullen clever.

As America's Vietnam expedition was becoming a quagmire in 1966, Vermont 
Senator George Aiken famously said that the US should "declare victory and go 
home." 

I recommend the Micheal Cullen follow the same strategy. The future is 
uncertain. The taxpayers will be better off if Cullen continues to look 
clever and I foolish.
