Warehouse Sales Results as at 1 Feb 2004 (Sales NZ$ YTD)

 

1) Warehouse NZ - $802,000,000

9.9% up from $702,000,000 corresponding period

 

2) Warehouse Stationery - $99,000,000

37.9% up from 71,800,000 corresponding period

 

3) Warehouse Australia - $323,000,000

15.9% up from $278,800,00 corresponding period

As an investment in future growth markets, Australia looks OK to me, and the stationery business appears to have been an excellent strategy.

 

Investments have associated costs.
