I have just spotted on the NZX website that CER has been served a share price enquiry.
*rolls eyes as waiting to see it because its not "20 minutes old yet"*
ertified Organics has provided the following in response to an NZXR enquiry into share price movement:
We (NZXR) note that your company's share price yesterday afternoon was quoted on the NZSX Market at $0.13 per share. This is an increase of 4.7 cents per share (56.63%), since commencement of trading on Friday 23 January 2004. It was also noted that 423,537 shares were traded yesterday, a significant increase from the usual volume.
In view of this fluctuation in your company's share price, we wish to make the following enquiries:
1. Is your company in possession of information which, if generally available to the public might reasonably be regarded as an explanation of the price variation?
The Board does not consider that the Company is in possession of information which, if generally available to the public might reasonable be regarded as an explanation of this price variance.
2. Does your company have any reason to believe or suspect that any person has bought or sold securities on the basis of such information?
No
3. Are there any matters of importance, concerning the company that the company is about to announce to the Exchange, and can any such announcement be made immediately?
The board is due to approve the released of the Company's preliminary statement of its Annual Result in the last week of February. This announcement will not be available for earlier release.
4. Has any officer or other representative of the company made any statement which has become public or generally known which may account for the price fluctuation?
The Board is not aware that any officer or other representative of the Company has made any statement which has become public or generally known which it considers may account for this fluctuation.
hmmmmmmm
regards
Callum Thomas
