Welcome to sharechat.

Some time ago as a new participant in a forum and after mentioning my personal broker in that forum environment; I received an email purporting to be from my broker + an attachment. The email was fraudulent.

After mentioning my broker again recently (not in this forum), I again received an email + attachment which purported to be from my broker.

I am presently awaiting confirmation from my broker on whether it originated from them and is indeed legitimate. I was naturally too scared to open it. No doubt my broker will take the matter to the Federal Police if it is not.

For this reason, you may not receive a large number of responses to your request.

Does anyone out there know of a broker(s) that allows the shorting of
equities, I am sure collateral will be needed at 105% approx , or even be
able to use my shareholdings as collateral for others and gain OCR as fee.
This type of trading happens in most western indicies but not little ol' NZ
as far as I can tell.
