Hi Macdunk,
In response to - ' ... Any one done the homework on fishing
companies?. ... '
Was considering Tassal Group Limited (TGR) - salmon
farming - which launched late last year, however; enthusiasm has been
dampened by recent articles. One example follows;
................
Farmed Salmon may Increase Your Cancer Risk Scientists are urging people to limit the amount of farmed salmon they eat claiming it could increase the risk of cancer due to high levels of toxins in the fish. I first warned against the health risks associated with farmed salmon over two years ago and have been warning against the danger of most all fish even before that. Recent studies have also confirmed the dangerous levels of toxins in salmon. As I have been saying, I would not consume any fish, whether farm-raised or from ocean, lake or stream, unless you have confirmed by lab testing that it is safe to eat. Even breathing increases cancer risk these days. Also, this website just happens to sell salmon (obviously the good
type).
Regards,
Cris
