Baa Baa (Hard to get a handle on who I am
addressing)
You make good points . It has become not PC to be financially pessimistic about
the forces and people in charge of our lives .These are subtle pressures
.
In NZ it seems to me we are let down by our
journalists - financial and other . They should devote their writing more to
predictive reporting rather than back water issues
like where Winston Peters had his last
meal.
We should be told what steps International Financiers and other movers and
shakers are taking to protect their interests -okay it requires more
investigative skills than simple reporting of past events. America is led by an
ineffective crusading puppet President (all stetson and no action) with
little concern as to the fiscal time bomb his tax and spending policies
help exacerbate in the world community . We are expected to remain non
thinking and oblivious to the obvious fact that the Emperor
(International Monetary system / wild currency fluctuations) is wearing no
clothes . Simply because our press does not dutifully inform us which should be
their primary role. Perhaps we can`t blame individual journalists. The
ultimate controlling editorial desk dictates what Joe public should
know . That Editor,in turn, is controlled by media magnates with their own
political agenda particularly when reliant upon the US Administration for
graces and favours.
In NZ
this Government having given up on our once proud defence forces is
prepared to keep us ignorant as well and totally impotent to
international tidal wave consequences of mal administration of the world economy
by those we are supposed to look up to.
