Marilyn,
GK Chersterton is still well rembered, by myself any way. I work from memory
but he wrote the king of notting hill and made the prediction that in 100
years from the time of writting [late 1890's] that london would have not
have changed much, except for the fact that clever men would be so thick on
the ground that it would be hard to see, the consequence of this would be
when a stupid man came along, he would be so different, he would be made
their leader.
Weather or not this is true is open to interpretation, as are all prophecys
and predictions.
Share market gains or losses are however, easy to quantify, and interperet.
