[sharechat] Automated TA systems

My TA trading currently relies on visual interpretation.  Part of my system 
is based around trendlines which are subjective to a degree.

I am interested in people's experiences with purely automated TA systems 
that generate buy and sell signals based on indicators that don't require 
visual interpretation.  Has anyone had success with automated systems?  Can 
you give me some tips on developing one / recommend any books on the 
subject?
