thanks for the predictions Gerry, some of us have been buying Gold since 01/02  when it was $280 -  $320,  your foresight in predicting $ 450 is truly amazing......

Hi Allan,

First the $440 /ounce. That came about due to some guessing on the other Channel where I predicted $450 before the Presidential election. That was done some time ago.

So, I didn't want the same for this site and dropped $10. Hopefully, I would get one right, I thought.

However, with the sudden speed of gold price increases, I told Sharetrader today that my prediction was cancelled. So, I am expecting higher prices.

As to differences on gold sites, some are updated quickly, others perhaps not. Then you will have the London fix and the NY prices later on. There could be other reasons, I don't know.

It really doesn't worry me as I have gold shares and don't hold physical  gold. My gold shares have done well today.

HotCopper has been my main "Base" for some time and I like it there. A very fast pace there, a lot of posters.

As usual, I found a niche there and I gave reports on some 15 Bios. I prefer big sites as there are people you haven't met before and there are always "kindred spirits".

Now I started a site which comments on some 10 gold stocks (I did prepare reports for them). There are more to come; most of these can be found   on Sharetrader as well as I owe them and keep them informed.
Meanwhile I still contribute to the Bios on HC and am a prominent commentator on some of these stocks.

So, I am a very busy man indeed.
Suggest you visit HC sometime, a strange setup till one gets used to it.

HC is well known for its BIO, gold, oil and mining posts. Perhaps they take more risks there? Do Traders make a quick dollar or go broke?

Cheers,

Gerry
