[sharechat] TELECOM trough feeding frenzy by macdunk

That Is how I would describe Telecoms annual meeting.   What goes with these people that think the company can afford to pay them a life times wages and perks pa.     I know people say pay peanuts and hire monkeys but this Is extreme.
I agree pay a bonus on results but be careful It can back fire.   The top dog or should I say piggy can run the company for a short term gain long term loss.     How ought we decide what Is a fair go and what Is not?.   I would suggest a minister of the govt and the captain of an International airline with all the perks to each as a fair yardstick to work from for a large nz company.  I myself could have cheated and robbed my way to riches but was more than happy to do a good job make a reasonable living and leave a client content In the knowledge It was my best shot.    I never have been a shareholder and never likely to be.     To much competition for a company run by trough feeders like that.
                    cheers macdunk
