You can go into Harvey Norman here and pick up a fridge (for example) for 
free.  Pay for it in 12 months they say - so I will:)..thanks very much! 

It only takes redundancies for the US consumer to say "where am i going to 
get that next payment from?".  Is the US laying off people?  You betcha.  
Masses of redundancies. 

Why should this worry us in little 'ole NZ?  Ask Rachel Hunter.
