Liberty,
        The trendline is of course only a tentative one at this stage in that 
it is unconfirmed. You make a valid point though - as you rightly point out, 
technically there is no underlying downtrend yet. Maybe I should have made it a 
dotted line, or better yet drawn in the support and resistance levels that 
define the trading range you speak of. I could also have drawn in the lower 
"trendline" that together with the line in question, make a symmetrical 
triangle. It is always hard to know just how much detail to put into these 
charts. Too much can obscure the most important point of the chart - in this 
case the fact that the 9 year uptrend remains unbroken.
