Hi sharechatters
I am currently trying to put together some information on
the governance of Tower (TWR), in particular information relating to any golden
parachute payments to executives and/or directors.
I am also trying to get the original text of the proposal
to demutualise as presented to the members of Tower in 1998/99.
Part of the purpose of my investigation is comparing the
change of governance by the Tower board with the changing nature and ownership
structure of the organisation as it moved from state ownership,
through mutual organisation owned by its members, and finally into
publicly listed company status.
I have attempted to obtain this information directly from
Tower but they seem a little slow to respond.
Any help or suggestions as to where any of this
information may be available would be greatly appreciated. I have checked
Tower site, NZ Herald Archives, NZ Institute for the study of competition and
regulation (http://www.iscr.org.nz/index.html),
and NBR archives.
Regards
Dave
