Fantasically simple; love it. A question though - where do you derive the equation for the line though? It seems to be a case of join the dots - take two spikes and draw a line between them, but how do you choose which two spikes to use? I'd appreciate a link to a site where such simple questions on TA and the like could be answered, rather than disturb gurus like yourselves with my infantile questions. After being in a downtrend since 1999, Telstra has finally broken above its long-term trendline. This, the simplest of technical analysis tools, has kept you out of this stock for 4 years, during which time the price has halved.
