I agree with Marilyn, re Toll.
Govt propping up of trains rail, in recient times started with the buy back
of the Auckland rail track, with out which trans rail could have collapsed
and then have been purchased for not much more.
Suspect rail is important to green party policy, and by extension the govt.
I cant explain their actions in economic terms either.
