        All technical and fundamental analysis is based on historical data. 
That is the only sort there is!
 The signals plotted on the previous chart all triggered on 8/5/03 or 9/5/03. 
This was about a week before the take-over offer was announced. These signals 
therefore were not triggered by the takeover offer, and would have occured 
without it. They were triggered by the increasing strength of the TRH share 
price, particularly the rises on the 8th and 9th of May.
 Here is a TRH chart showing volume. This is one of the clearest examples of a 
Price/Volume Climax I have seen. Some people would have bought on the strength 
of this alone, but the prudent thing is to wait for an uptrend to be confirmed 
(by the price making a higher High, after a higher Low) before buying.
