[sharechat] Free trade deals.

Hoop you should know better than expect any politician to let anyone know what is going on. Dont worry about America and free trade, BUSH will put them under. Worry about the deals to be had with the next big country to fill there shoes. I expect the NZ dollar to rise against the american dollar, and continue to do so. My investments are strictly confined to the nz market To enter the overseas fund market you must be joking, its the last thing on my mind. The companies you mention Telstra Telecom Carter holt harvey are not on my list of buys. I have the viewpoint that the world is in a state of rapid change and the more that NZ sits on the sidelines the better I like It.
If I am wrong nothing lost but if I am right at least my money is easy to recover.
