Marilyn,

We do not run and never have run Microsoft servers or databases - the
ShareChat website is written on a Linux platform.

The error message you received is because there is an error with the search
engine - nothing to do with whatever MS worm there is currently floating
around.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention - we shall get it fixed.

The SQL ("sequel") Slammer worm is rampaging around the internet with floods
of trash packets from unpatched Microsoft SQL server databases.

This would be an excellent opportunity for sites following the Linux,
Apache,
MySQL route, to boast of their stability and security.

Except for Sharechat. A query on their search page returns this error;

#1016: Can't open file: 'dict.MYD'. (errno: 145)
