It seems to me we are being
worked over to join in a modern
day gold rush. In the good
old days it was all done with
a pick and shovel down at the
river. today it seems it gets
done with some other fool at the
river, and a phone call to the
broker. Most money in the good
old days was made selling picks
and shovels, spots on the river
etc. I expect this little gold
rush to go the same way, a
few winners at the start with
the fools at the end losing
there grub stake. there are
enough good solid investments for old
Macdunk to have a play with in
this country without looking over
seas, or joining in a gold rush.
I expect bush will have his
war. all the more reason to keep
your money close to home. the
very last place I would invest
in is in the American market.
I never give advice only fools
do that, its only my opinion.
Anyone that dousnt believe me
only need look at the records of
the financial advisors of late My
point is this, we owe it
to the country to keep
our money in the worthwhile investments
that we have here, rather than
swan it off overseas, or join in
a gold rush. cheers
