LOK rose from A 23 cents to A 26 cents on the
Nasdaq. There is an ongoing thread on the other channel.
I wonder if it could pick up more before the
quarterly Dec. report will be announced on 28 Jan.
Re NRT. it rose to $A3.98 on the
Nasdaq.
There are "marketmakers" from US
operating in NZ . Their job is to cover the ADRs. It seems that the demand in
the US is much higher than the supply.
While the matter concerns demand and supply in
Australia, I have often wondered what influence these few people have. Enough
said. Most of the time we finish up with prices much lower than those in the
US.
I suppose they have to cover their costs
and people are too quick selling their shares.
