snoopy, thanks for your comments, you may well be correct with your annalys, but having traded for several years i do have some strict selling rules which although does mean quitting some stocks that have  gone onto increase. but holding on has cost me plenty in the past. with todays lower brokerage costs i feel its perhaps not such a big issue, i can also sleep better knowing i'm cashed up. also snoopy i sold out of nch (now ngc) using my sell indicators at a reasonably good trade, there has been several posts on nch,   johnnz
