Well done Dannie. I remember Adam pointing Funtastic out a few times in the past. Licensed kid's stuff continues to be a best seller, and with the new acquisition including food that will extend the branding even further. However while I am quite happy to shell out hundreds for Thomas the Tank Engine for my two-year old I am one of those parents who draw the line at paying a premium for Blue's Clues yoghurt at the supermarket. I am sure one of the first rules of money management is... never take the kids supermarket shopping :) Cheers, Phil (no FUN shares)(either literally and figuratively) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dannie Hawkins" <dannie@es.co.nz> To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> Sent: Tuesday, October 08, 2002 12:16 PM Subject: [sharechat] FUNtastic To all of those holders of FUN check out the latest news. The share price briefly hit $1 yesterday, but has drifted back a little. Where to now? FUNdamentally the share is still cheap for it's growth history, but the latest buy may dilute earnings growth for the next few years. On the other hand the placement will bring in Institutions, who with any luck will recognise the gem that slaps them in the face.
