Hi Nick Canbet's latest year [to June 2002] saw them profitable, I believe for the first time. Their revenue was up a massive 445% to $11.6 million and EPS is 1 cent putting them on a historical PE ratio of around 9. People will always gamble. Even when times are tough there is some suggestion that people gamble more! The Internet is surely the perfect medium for gambling. I also follow EBet but don't hold at present. To me charts are a "backup" to my more fundamental, with contrarian flavour, approach. Correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the chart for Canbet, while they have been crabbing sidewards for some months, the daily price seems recently to have moved above both the 30 and 100 day Moving Averages. Is this not a TA buy signal? Cheers, John Cheers, John >>> nickk@quicksilver.net.nz Monday, 9 September 2002 8:30:53 p.m. >>> John I would hate to bring up the pennies again. And I won't. I did however have a look at CBT a few months ago and at that time it needed to close above 12.5 for me to enter. It didn't and I see it has drifted back to 9c although I do agree that there is potential here. I just haven't had another decent look at it but I believe it has massive upside potential eventually. Can you convince me it is now?
