Whoa there! No shouting needed... Without wanting to make this into a "tax forum", I think Malcolm has a good point. Here in Australia (where I live) one is taxed at the rate of 48% when earning over $60k a year - and Australia is hardly an "obscure" country compared to NZ. Malcolm was just putting some perspective on the calls that NZ needs lower taxes - no need for throwaway comments in return, methinks. Best Regards Ben Dutton disc. Not a Labour party supporter :). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kees.deJong" <Kees.deJong@xtra.co.nz> To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> Sent: Friday, September 06, 2002 4:10 PM Subject: Re: [sharechat] oh,,,,dear.. more bad news > YOU HAVE JUST PROVED MY POINT. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Malcolm Cameron" <malharcameron@hotmail.com> > To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> > Sent: Friday, September 06, 2002 6:07 PM > Subject: Re: [sharechat] oh,,,,dear.. more bad news > > > > kees If you don't like NZ tax rates go somewhere else.
