[sharechat] Vertex, gee, what a surprise!

Breaking news today...

"Shares in recently-listed packaging company Vertex Group plunged by almost
a quarter and looked ready to continue falling after it issued a profit
warning today."

http://www.sharechat.co.nz/news/scnews/article.php/f790e33c

And here are some blasts from the past from when the float was launched...

"Aussie doer-uppers fudge Vertex financials"

http://www.sharechat.co.nz/features/nbr/article.php/b3039685

"Analysts attack 'misleading' Vertex Group prospectus"

http://www.sharechat.co.nz/features/nbr/article.php/a78b4176

And my favourite, from the one and only RIL...

"I just received a prospectus for Vertex. Don't be
fooled Kiwis - this is one of the most disgusting
offers I have seen in a long time.

I raised many laughs in the office with this one.

Everything relies on grossly inflated forecasts off an
historical PE of nearly 50 on historical core
earnings.

Don't touch it with a barge-pole.

RIL - in amazement."

Hope there are no SC investors on board the Vertex rollercoaster (rapidly
going down).

Best Regards

Ben Dutton
