Well, another day later and several emails of support for a “STUDY STOCK” section of this site. I will do my best to make this happen with the help and good-will of the ShareChat team.

 

How about some preliminary thoughts on the information that will be covered in this new education tool. Obviously we could stoke up the old Technical and Fundamental debate, and then spend hours searching for quintessential quotes from Mr Buffet and Ms Holm. That would be fun, but probably a complete waste of time.

 

We could create a very simple few pages that allowed us to demonstrate a trade or investment in several specific stocks. There are some superb analysts who grace these pages, and many more who watch from the sidelines. Let’s try to constructively and practically build some knowledge and make some money.

 

I’m just not that interested in theories and studies, If we can focus on making money then everybody wins. So from now on, if there are things that don’t make sense or questions that people have about anything market related, lets get it on the board and incorporate it with a study stock or two

 

Lets think outside NZ and outside equities as well. International markets are accessible and all long term investors could be making money by writing options. It would be nice if ShareChat became a portal for the most sophisticated investors in NZ. Education is all that it takes.

 

But enough for Tuesday. There is work to be done and money to be made.
