So only 52% of shares were voted at the FFS meeting the other day. Doesn't not voting mean that those shareholders were not convinced that the deal was worthwhile. This means that 66% (the 52% who did not bother vote plus 14% of all shareholders who voted no) didn't want the deal to go ahead. Hardly a close thing then. An overwhelming NO Probably the institutions didn't bother vote. Wonder what all those individuals with hard earned money invested with these institutions think of them shirking their duty.
