withdrawing the assets from sale.wonder what else he knows?Although the banks
would be keen to offload the estate,would they sell to anyone for the right
price or do they have other interests to protect ie.their extensive lending to
other nz foresters for processing and distribution operations in the present and
in the future.I would imagine that thousands of tons of cheap unprocessed logs
coming from the largest single standing man made forest in the world would
impact considerably on those operations.Pity the poor ports also,all that money
spent to efficiently move and track more containerised cargo only to have to
bulldoze it all again for log yards and tarps.
