SRE has had a constant string of good news releases
lately.
The cynical amongst us wonder about the timing with
the IPO still under way. Never the less there seem to be some genuine trials and
deals on the table.
The timing of the IPO is obviously terrible, but
that presents opportunities for long term investors.
For what it's worth,my analysis is that the
potential rewards outway the risk. The company has the enormous advantage of
friendly contacts in North America. I have decided to take a very small stake
through my broker.
Forsyth Barr released an interesting report last
week valuing them at anywhere from 0 to over $6 in 2 or 3 years, compared to 50
cents issue price.
If all goes well dividend payouts will pay back
initial investments in a few years.
Ya pays ya money and ya take ya
chances
