Dear Snoopy,

Way back in 1992, I had read several articles that NZ had changed it's 
system, discarding a good deal of what I'll call socialism or the like and 
was coming up in the world standard of living wise and of course 
economically.

In Sept. of 92 my wife said she would like to go see NZ.  Since the 
aformentioned was on my mind I said let's go.  We spent a month driving the 
country, both south and north, met lots and lots of very nice peoiple and 
fell in love with it.

I might also add that I spent the first week end working on things to invest 
in including interviewing a CIO of one of you listed companies on Friday 
morning.

Access brokerage had an office in the same bldg. where this co mpany had 
it's headquarters, so I went and talked with them.  After returning home and 
doing more homework, I call Access and asked tham to send me forms to open 
an account.  And the story goes on from there.

We have been to NZ three times now and in several towns stay with people we 
have met on prior trips rather than stay in a motel.  (At the Kiwi's 
insistance, I might add.)

We had hoped to get a visit from some of these  people, but when the Kiwi 
dollar tanked about 3 years ago, it really made it a very expensive trip for 
them.  Perhaps now that things are getting a little better that will come to 
fruition.

In the meantime, we hope to get back to NZ ourselves in the next year or 
two.
