Couldn't agree more Ben and Christian. This is a time for being careful.

Thet article that Ben linked us to mentioned market depth (advance/decline) pointing out that more stocks on the S&P are rising than falling.

The only such measure I have seen on the NZSE is this from datex.co.nz. (the free stuff). Again NZSE being contrary to the rest of world

Suggests that since March more stocks in NZ have fallen then risen. Maybe that is what Nick is getting concerned about. Finding it harder to pick the winners when odds aren't in his favour.

Anybody know what this chart is really saying? Has a sort of index.

Anybody know of another source of an advance/decline chart for the NZS or ASX?
