1. Read Dogfight by Ewa(e?)n Wilson to see how they contributed to a Kiwi entrepreneur sticking his head up and getting it cut off. 2. Poor accident record over mountains. 3. Lack of responsibility of airline management once said mountains are struck. 3. Ugly middle-aged hostesses (at least last time I flew - about 8 years ago). 4. Precious attitude of staff. 5. Constant boring harping on about NZ this and that. On the other hand the plane was clean, the staff were pretty professional and you could have a certain amount of faith in the pilots - notwithstanding mountain ranges. The best airline I ever flew: Lan Chile from Santiago to Easter Island to Tahiti. Air NZ's current economic model doesn't work. Even changing it may not make it profitable. The NZ government should have the courage to admit that owning an airline is a mug's game and either sell it or shut it down. They could have done this before injecting your funds. If the NZ tourist industry then have a problem why should the NZ taxpayer subsidise their customers to get there. If the demand exists for inbound someone will provide flights. Perhaps the tourist industry could. RIL __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? LAUNCH - Your Yahoo!
