All the hype surrounding CDMA reminds me of another communication technology that teleco's were going to clean up big with. The technology was ISDN. One wag explained that ISDN was an anacronim (sic) for "Inovations Subscribers Don't Need". Perhaps the same could be said for CDMA. I have a Vodafone GSM cell phone. It does everthing I want. the only thing that holds me back from greater utilization or the phone are the high call charges. Perhaps you can surf the internet on a CDMA phone but would you for instance want to read this post on the display of your phone while riding in a bus. Or tapping out out an email with the keys on your phone. Just my thoughts.
