Hi everyone

Wondering if anyone can help out.

At the moment I cant connect to PowerEtrade or the portfolio section of Etrade WWW Site.

* Can log in OK to www.etrade.com.au
* Cant bring up portfolio, as this goes to www.etradeaustralia.com.au. This domain doesn't resolve to an P address from here in NZ (or for that matter from some sites around the world)

* Cant traceroute to www.etradeaustralia.com.au (doesnt resolve)
* Cant ping www.etradeaustralia.com.au

BUT

Via a term server session IN Australia, I can log into Etrade, and etradeaustralia.com.au. I can also ping both server addresses.

AND

From NZ I can't connect to Hotcopper,I  get host unknown ... but can from within Australia.

AND

From within NZ I can't tracerout / ping www.hotcopper.com.au. Neither can I from Canada.

Seems to suggest something very screwy has gone wrong with routing/DNS somewhere .. affecting people outside Australia.

Can any shed some light. Its got me stuffed, trying to pinpoint the point of failure ... and Etrade IT Support are as confused.
